That's possible but maybe little bit hidden. You have to right click (or long press on mobile) on the map. Maybe you have any idea how to improve user experience and make it easier to find?
Kacper Golinski I just didn't find it! The problem still is, though, this only seems to allow appending straight line segments to the end of a route. If I make a route and want to modify a small bit in the middle I would have to recreate everything after it.
Jedidjah de Vries Makes sense. I will be updating this whole feature: - I will add button to the sidepanel to toggle mode (follow route or free hand drawing) - I will add a way to change given segment from "free hand" to "follow routes"

Sam uel hard to tell when it's going to be ready. At the moment I started developing mobile app. But I will try to do it in the meantime.
Off path segments can be created using right click and click "straight line to here" or using sidebar "waypoints" section.
